The TANITA DC-430MA and TANITA DC-360 have an integrated thermal printer to print the measurement results after the measurement is complete.
If paper comes out of the printer but nothing is printed on it, this may indicate that the paper roll is incorrectly positioned. The integrated printers are thermal printers and printing only works on one side of the thermal paper rolls.
Carefully open the printer and turn the roll over to see if this solves the problem.
If there is still no text printed on the printouts, this may indicate that the paper used is not thermal paper. You can find the compatible thermal paper rolls here: https://tanita.eu/tp-301
If the thermal rolls are correct but no text appears on either side of the paper, this may indicate a technical problem with the integrated printer. In that case, please contact us.
If no paper comes out of the printer at all while a thermal paper roll is inserted, make sure the printer is switched on in the settings of the scale. For both models Setting 2 in the scale has to be set and saved on 1, 2 or 3 (amount of prints) to switch the scale on, and Setting 20 has to be set and saved on 1 to print the full report. In the instruction manual you can find more information about the settings and how to change them.
If no paper comes out at all, while the thermal paper roll is inserted and the settings are correct, this may indicate a technical problem with the integrated printer. In that case, please contact us.
