Use this step by step guide to activate a TANITA PRO Software license on a computer that can never have an active internet connection.
To complete this process you need a USB stick, and an additional computer that does have an internet connection.
First make sure that your license has been registered with help of your TANITA ID and that you have access to your my mobee Business Portal account where you can find your 15- character license key.
- On the laptop that has no internet connection, open the TANITA PRO software, go to Settings > Mobee360 Basic settings > Licensing
- Click the 'Activate' button and follow the steps. The software will detect that there is no internet connection and will offer the option for offline licensing.
- Download the .html file and put it on a USB stick. Leave the Activation Wizard open in the software on the no-internet laptop.
- Put the USB stick in a laptop with internet and open the .html file from the USB stick.
- The product activation website opens. Press the 'Activate now' button, to activate the software license.
- Automatically the computer will now download an .xml file. Put this file on the USB stick.
- Put the USB stick back in the no-internet computer, and press 'Import' in the wizard to import the .xml file from the USB stick.
- After importing the .xml file from the USB stick, the software license is activated, and the full version of TANITA PRO Software can be used.
