When the TANITA PRO installation fails it can show several errors, like:
- TANITA Installation Wizard ended prematurely
- SQL Server Express 2022 mandatory prerequisite was not correctly installed
- Computer needs to be restarted, please reboot your computer before performing this installation
When this happens, there are a few things to check and make sure, before reattempting to install the software:
- All pending Windows updates should be installed, and the computer should be fully restarted after that before starting the installation of TANITA PRO. You can check if there are pending Windows updates in the update center of your computer. (Select Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update >, and then select Check for updates)
- When the updates are completed and the computer is restarted, please extract the .ZIP folder you downloaded for the TANITA PRO software. To do this, go to the Downloads folder on your computer, click on the .ZIP folder with your right mouse button and select 'extract all', and then give your computer permission to extract, it's fine if it creates a new folder.
Then open the extracted folder, and run the installation again. It's important that you have the Administrator rights on this Windows account, or that you have the Administrator password at hand, to install the TANITA PRO software.
- During the installation, allow the software to install all recommended modules and prerequisites. It should install the mobee360 module as well as the TANITA PRO module, and all their components, just as prompted during the installation.
- If the installation still fails, please make sure to uninstall all TANITA PRO and mobee360 components from the computer via the Control Panel, including all SQL related components and other components which were installed during the first attempt (sort the installed programs by date and uninstall all components that were installed at the same time). Restart the computer after doing this. Make sure all Pending Windows updates are installed, and if this is the case you can start the TANITA PRO installation from the start again. Make sure to install the mobee360 module and TANITA PRO module during the installation.
If the installation still ends with an error, check the specifications of your computer. The specifications of the computer you're using should be compatible, you can find the required specifications here: System requirements for using TANITA PRO software.

(In case your computer is using an ARM processor, the software is unfortunately not compatible and cannot be installed, in that case we recommend to use a different laptop/computer.)
